All Risk, Agreed Value Coverage
All risk means that the policy covers any type of damage not expressly excluded.

24-Hour Emergency Dispatch
Assistance is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week to help insureds through boating emergencies, including salvage, fuel spill containment, sinking and pollution clean-up.

$500,000 Fuel Spill Liability Coverage
Federal and state laws subject boaters to liability for containment, clean-up, and environmental damage. To protect you, BoatU.S. automatically includes an additional $500,000 liability coverage in all policies. This covers unintentional discharge of oil or fuel that can occur in a sinking, fire, collision, grounding,etc.

Lifetime Repair Guarantee
For claims related repairs made at an approved facility for as long as you own and insure the boat through BoatU.S.

Investigative Services
If your claim indicates a possible manufacturer's defect problem or warranty dispute, this service provides a professional analysis of the problem and a report from a marine surveyor on the proper repair of suspected defects.

Uninsured Boater Protection
Covers injuries to you caused by hit-and-run or uninsured boaters.

Full Salvage Assistance
Your BoatU.S. Yacht Policy covers you for the full cost of salvage, without a deductible, up to the insured value of your boat (this is in addition to any payments made to repair the boat) salvage demands routinely range from 5% to 20% of the boat's value, and have been known to hit 100%, especially on smaller boats, this coverage is important for owners of all size boats.

Damage Avoidance Program

Basic Protection Boat Saver Policy

A "no-frills" discount boat insurance program for boats under 26 feet.

The Boat Saver Insurance policy provides basic, actual cash value coverage to owners of trailer boats, fishing boats, sport boats or small sailboats at significant savings over the long-established BoatU.S. Yacht Insurance Policy, as well as other companies' boat and yacht insurance programs. Like other companies that insure these types of boats, some of the savings comes from depreciation of all losses and payment of the actual cash value of the boat (the boat's current market value) in the event of a total loss.

The Boat Saver Policy has coverages for the boat, engine, boating and sports equipment, boating liability and medical payments, uninsured boater protection and optional trailer coverage. The Boat Saver Policy also includes Fuel Spill Liability coverage, 24-Hour Emergency Dispatch of on-the-water assistance, and fast, easy access to BoatU.S. claims specialists. In contrast to the BoatU.S. Yacht Policy, the Boat Saver drops Investigative Services and Lifetime Repair Guarantee and the savings are passed on to you.
